what i'm thinking right now...
Japan
When I was still a little girl, I said that I hate Japan. I hate everything about and in it. I think it’s because the time when the japanese invaded the Philippines with the reason “ASIA is for ASIAN”. I know that during those times I’m still not yet born. So if you’re asking me why I said that, I think it’s because I sympathize with people who suffered because of the Japanese during those times.
I still remember when I was young, if you ask me what I want to become when I grow up, my answer is that I want to be a doctor. Why, because I want to help the poor people. Because I think they are really misfortunate and they are the one who are being abuse. I think this is the effect of watching so many Tele-novellas during that time.
Now if you ask me today, why are you studying hard? My answer is that, because I want to finish my studies and be able to go to Japan. It is because I think Japan is the greatest Country. I think they are great because even though they lost from the war and the country was almost buried to the ground. The people did their best to be able to rise again and make their economy grow. Then I ask, “Where is Japan now?” Japan is one of the 1st world countries along with America. I think one of the factors that help made the economy of Japan “boom” is their talent when it comes to animation. They have managed to create hundreds of stories and Anime’s.
Today, I not only adore Japan and Japanese people, I also think that I 424 with one of its citizen. (Can you guess what 424 is? ^_^). To a guy who was hiding in a name that was not really his. We are in a world different from each other. We have different culture and beliefs. But just like what people always say “you can’t choose who you 424 with…” (yan may clue na…).
Maybe someday I will be able to go there, to have happy memories and good experiences to cherish, to be able to meet him and maybe know him much better. For now all I can do is study hard and then find a work that is suitable for me, so that someday my dreams will be fulfilled.
